BWW Reviews: Elevator @ Macha Theatre Offers Stimulating Ride

It amazes me that a play has not been written before about a cross section of people getting trapped in an elevator, as the potential for drama is limitless. People have a tendency to open up as never before when they face calamity, and, with this in mind, Michael Leoni goes the distance theatrically in Elevator, now in its fourth incarnation, this time around @ The Macha Theatre. Its electric ensemble cast and nonstop fluid action should keep most audiences glued to their seats.

EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION Visits the Lampe Family

The 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' team went in for the ultimate takedown when they paid a visit to the Lampe family in Louisville, Kentucky. The Lampe family business, a once self-sustained tree service, has been hit hard by a series of injuries that forced the family to slow their pace and turn away work. Rough terrains and deadly heights are just part of the physical dangers that face Jeff Lampe daily. Despite the persistent pain and the lack of health insurance, Jeff powers through each day in an effort to keep the family afloat. The proud father of six and his wife, Shelley, have not allowed their circumstances to get them down. The Lampes continue to serve their community by affording local teens the opportunity to learn more about wrestling.

There is no bigger Mariah Carey fan than the talented and charismatic Finis Gaston, a shining star in his own right in his Baker, Florida neighborhood.
