Tonight, October 4, 2013, The New York Pops orchestra will launch its 31st Season at Carnegie Hall with An Evening with Chris Botti. Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke will lead the orchestra in a highly-anticipated opening with America's largest-selling instrumental artist, trumpeter Chris Botti. The performance will include selections such as Chopin's 'Prelude in C Minor,' 'Emmanuel,' and 'When I Fall in Love' from his recent Grammy Award-winning album Impressions, as well as other popular favorites, at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.

Building upon his 2010 production, TOM RYAN THINKS HE'S JAMES MASON STARRING IN A MOVIE BY NICHOLAS RAY…Daniel Fish reunites with actors Christina Rouner and Thomas Jay Ryan on a new work that fuses theater, cinema, and environmental installation. ETERNAL is Fish's most conceptually ambitious production to date. In August, Fish assembled a film crew to shoot Ryan and Rouner performing the final scene of the 2004 film ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND in a continuous loop for two hours - the only constraint: that they must keep going, no matter what happens. The unedited two channel video of their performance will be projected on screens that face each other from across the space. The audience sits between the lovers.

Mario Frangoulis, the world-renowned powerhouse tenor, makes his San Francisco debut with his electrifying voice and stunning charisma, in a one-night-only performance at the Nourse Auditorium (275 Hayes Street, San Francisco) on Friday, November 8, 2013. Unveiling songs from his new, critically acclaimed international release, Beautiful Things, Frangoulis will continue his limited Unite States tour with performances at the Harris Theater in Chicago on Sunday, November 10 and The Rose Theatre at Jazz at the Lincoln Center in New York on Saturday, November 16. Frangoulis will donate a portion of proceeds from these three performances to charity.
