In the heart of awards season, between the Golden Globes and The Academy Awards, the Orange British Academy Film Awards sees the biggest movie stars in Britain and Hollywood come together to honor this year's best in film. Hosted by Jonathan Ross, the 2011 Awards were broadcast from London's Royal Opera House.

Nineteen of the 20 nominees in the acting categories will be among more than 140 Oscar® nominees who will gather at noon on Monday, February 7, at the Beverly Hilton when the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences honors this year's Oscar contenders at its annual Nominees Luncheon. Directors Guild of America President Taylor Hackford today announced the five nominees for the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for 2010.

The 83rd Academy Awards® nominations were announced live on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at 5:30 a.m. PT in the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

The awards continue for Colin Firth and Natalie Portman. Firth won the 2011 Critics' Choice Movie Awards for Best Actor for 'The King's Speech' (which also won Best Original Screenplay), while Natalie Portman won Best Actress for 'Black Swan.'

According to Ology.com, David Fincher recently expressed interest in creating a stage adaptation of his 1999 film, FIGHT CLUB. The Social Network director is currently in talks with Trent Reznor, who wrote the score for the 2010 hit film, to possibly get the musical started.

The National Society of Critics announced their picks for this year's awards in New York today and 'The Social Network' was the top winner. David Fincher's drama won best picture, best director and best actor for Jesse Eisenberg.
