Scooter Brown Band's Carrigan Shields Dies At Age 30

Carrigan Chet Shields, accomplished piano player and member of the Scooter Brown Band, died on December 30, 2019. Born on October 22, 1989 in Pocatello, Idaho to Clint and Brenda Shields, Carrigan grew up in a musical family, picking up the talent immediately. He excelled in a variety of instruments including drums, but found his passion sitting at a piano. His final performance on December 28 was on the Grand Ole Opry at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Charlie Daniels Announces 2020 Volunteer Jam

Country Music Hall of Famer Charlie Daniels has announced the return of his legendary Volunteer Jam live concert. Headlined by The Charlie Daniels Band, the all-star, multi-artist event is set to take place on Tuesday, September 15 at 7 p.m. / CT at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster this Friday, December 20 at 10 a.m. / CT.

Charlie Daniels and The Journey Home Project Announce Pentagon Art Exhibit

Country music legend Charlie Daniels' veterans non-profit The Journey Home Project (TJHP) has partnered with the Rich Povertyorganization to assemble a new art exhibit at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. The exhibit, titled The Alliance Collection, is a gallery of combat and civilian photographs taken by veterans and their families. The collection is now on display for public viewing.

The House Theatre Presents PINOCCHIO

The House Theatre of Chicago continues their 2018 -2019 season with the beloved tale of Pinocchio at The Chopin Theatre upstairs theatre, 1543 W. Division, March 28 - May 19. This world premiere of the classic story inspired by the works of Carlo Collodi has been adapted for the stage by Company Members Joseph Steakley and Ben Lobpries. The House Theatre of Chicago's rendition of Pinocchio features the direction of Company Member Chris Mathews.
