Continuing its 25th Anniversary Season, Lookingglass Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Still Alice, adapted and directed by Ensemble Member Christine Mary Dunford, based on the novel by Lisa Genova. The production runs April 10 - May 19, 2013 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The Press Opening is Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

From Tuesday to Saturday, April 2-6, 2013, The Kitchen presents the New York premiere of choreographer Camille A. Brown's Mr.TOL E. RAncE. Inspired by Spike Lee's controversial film Bamboozled and Mel Watkins' book On The Real Side: Laughing, Lying, And Signifying - The Underground Tradition of African American Humor that Transformed American Culture, from Slavery to Chris Rock, Brown's ensemble piece celebrates the humor and perseverance of the black performer while examining the stereotypes that persist in popular black culture.
Mr. TOL E. RancE is performed by Brown and her company: Juel D. Lane, Mayte Natalio, Waldean Nelson, Mora-Amina Parker, Willie 'Tre' Smith III and KeonThoulouis, and features original music, which will be played live by Scott Patterson.
Hippodrome-Colony Theatre Renamed Peoples Bank Theatre

The Hippodrome-Colony Historical Theatre Association ('Association') and Peoples Bank, National Association ('Peoples Bank') announced today it will rename the Colony Theatre the Peoples Bank Theatre in recognition of a generous $250,000 donation by the bank.

Live at The RRazz, San Francisco's premier nightclub, will present DONNELL RAWLINGS with his hit comedy show "From Ashy to Classy… Live & Uncut" from January 25 to January 27. With his firm grasp of the outrageous, Donnell (HBO's "The Wire") was born to make people laugh. He grabbed America's funny bone on "Chappelle's Show" with characters like Ashy Larry and the distinctively jheri-curled Beautiful. Now Donnell goes even further, taking on the entire American culture with impersonations of everybody from Michael Jackson (RIP) to Barack Obama, and bringing his audience to tears with his razor-sharp insights and fearless observations.

From corporate cubicles to comedy clubs, "Funny Indian" Rajiv Satyal has been making people laugh all over the world for a decade. Now, the former Procter & Gamble marketing manager will bring his unique brand of sidesplitting humor to his hometown of Fairfield, Ohio, for the first time in 10 years tonight, October 5 at the new Fairfield Community Arts Center Theatre. It will be the first ever standup comedy show at the center.

The Improv Standup Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre is opening in Atlanta with a bang. The Improv perhaps best known for its A&E network show An Evening at the Improv will open in the prestigious Buckhead nightlife destination, Andrews Entertainment District, tonight, October 4th, 2012. Headlining the Atlanta Improv opening is comic legend Louie Anderson who made his television debut on the 'The Tonight Show' in 1984 with Johnny Carson.
