Theatre for a New Audience has canceled the today, June 11, evening performance of The Killer due to a scheduling conflict with production of a television show. The theatre deeply regrets the inconvenience to patrons and supporters.

He is the artistic director of Connecticut's Hartford Stage. He has directed at Theatre for a New Audience, The Public Theater, Old Globe, Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Royal Shakespeare Company Complete Works Festival, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Huntington Theatre Company, Goodspeed Musicals, Long Wharf Theatre, Westport Country Playhouse, Vineyard Theater, and Los Angeles Opera.

A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder 's Robert L. Freedman has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical. Freedman received the Fred Ebb and Kleban awards for the musicals A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder and Campaign of the Century with Steven Lutvak, and was nominated for Emmy and Writers Guild awards for the television miniseries Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows.
