At Comic- Con, GLEE creator Ryan Murphy announced that next season, the show will present a 'Rocky Horror' episode.

Synecdoche, New York focuses on an aging, ill theatre director who stages a grand-scale piece in a warehouse that expand and increasingly mimics real life. 'Synechoche' is a term for a part of something that is used to refer to its whole - i.e., the stage.

Perez Hilton reports that 'Glee' creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy is finalizing a four-year deal with 20th Century Fox for $24 million. ET reports that GLEE's Executive Producer Ryan Murphy has confirmed a Britney Spears tribute episode is currently being written. The article also notes that Spears will be the focus of only the first of two GLEE tribute episodes next season. As for the second tribute, airing after the 2011 Super Bowl, Murphy teased that ET was 'close' in guessing Michael Jackson.'

Despite previously reported speculation to the contrary, a rep for Katie Holmes has confirmed to Us Weekly that the All My Sons alumna will not be appearing on GLEE next season. Holmes was reportedly in talks for a deal that will give her a role for five episodes during GLEE's second season.

Initial casting has been announced for the Broadway production of THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS, the exhilarating new Kander & Ebb musical. Following a sold out, critically acclaimed and award-winning run Off-Broadway, THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS will open on Broadway on Sunday, October 31 at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). GLEE summer camps are being created throughout the United States, the Chicago Tribune reports. Camps based on the hit television show have been started in Illinois, North Carolina, Florida, Arizona, Indiana and Utah, the Tribune states.
