FOX has officially announced that 'Glee: The Complete Second Season' will be released on Blu-ray Disc on September 13th. Fans can pre-order the DVD at Amazon.com for $62.99.

Chris Colfer has written and will star in an upcoming film about a teen who gets 'Struck By Lightning,' Variety reports. Colfer is best known for his portrayal of Kurt Hummel on Glee, for which he has received several nominations and awards, including the Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actor in 2011.

The second season of GLEE might be over, but creator Ryan Murphy still has lots going on, with his new spinoff 'The Glee Project' premiering just over a week ago. Murphy told the LA Times: 'I think we learned one big lesson which is don't put a musical comedy reality show opposite the Tony Awards ... or the NBA Finals.'

Harnessing the power of the digital and analog assets of Oxygen Media, the critically-lauded 'The Glee Project' reached more than 4.5 million viewers during premiere week which drove viewership in week two by impressive double-digit increases across all key demographics and delivered nearly 900,000 total viewers for episode 2 (9PM and 10PM hours,) according to Nielsen Media Research.

This week on 'The Glee Project,' Broadway star Idina Menzel ('Glee's' Shelby) mentored the contenders with a fitting theme of ‘theatricality.' All of the GLEE students who are currently juniors within the show's plot will be graduating at the end of next season, the show's creator confirmed today. 'We didn't want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years,' Ryan Murphy told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. 'We really wanted to be true to that experience.'

During last night's series debut of Oxygen's 'The Glee Project,' the 12 contenders performed an energetic rendition of Katy Perry's mega-hit 'Firework.' Under the tutelage of 'Glee' guest mentor Darren Criss ('Glee's' Blaine), the group was coached on the theme of ‘Individuality' and how to stand out while being true to your personality. At the conclusion of the premiere episode, 'Glee' hopeful Bryce Ross-Johnson (22) of Westlake Village, CA was the first contender to be eliminated. Bryce was tasked with performing Bruno Mars' 'Just the Way You Are' for 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy as a last chance - but the show must go on! The remaining 11 contenders will face their next ‘Glee'-inspired challenge on Sunday, June 19th at 9pm ET/PT, only on Oxygen.
