The stellar cast of the upcoming Rob Marshall film musical NINE recently reunited at New York's Plaza Hotel for an interview with Cynthia McFadden of ABC News' Nightline.

The all new 20th Anniversary Season of Broadway Beat has begun! This week catch up with the film version of NINE talking to both director Rob Marshall, Composer/Lyricist Maury Yeston and Judi Dench plus Sophia Loren, Fergie, Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Daniel Day-Lewis and IN THE NEXT ROOM (or the vibrator play).

The Detroit Film Critics Association has announced the nominees for its annual end-of-year awards. NINE received a nod for Marion Cotillard as best supporting actress. She is nominated alongside: Anna Kendrick, Up in the Air; Mélanie Laurent, Inglourious Basterds; Mo'Nique, Precious; and Vera Farmiga, Up in the Air.

Harvey Weinstein, producer of Nine, sat down with TheWrap editor-in-chief Sharon Waxman to discuss the movie. In a candid Q & A, they discussed the business of making movie musicals, the casting for Nine, and director Rob Marshall, among other things.

The Washington, D.C. Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) today announced their 2009 winners, awarding Best Film to Up in the Air.
