MasterVoices presents BABES IN TOYLAND

MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale), closes its 75th anniversary season with Victor Herbert's Babes in Toyland on April 27, 2017 at 7pm at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall (57th Street and 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10019). The production will be conducted and directed by MasterVoices' Artistic Director Ted Sperling and will feature Kelli O'Hara (Contrary Mary), Bill Irwin (Master Toymaker), Christopher Fitzgerald (Alan), Lauren Worsham (Jane), Jay Armstrong Johnson (Tom Tom), Jonathan Freeman (Uncle Barnaby), Chris Sullivan (Gonzorgo), Jeffrey Schecter (Roderigo), Michael Kostroff (Chief Inspector Marmaduke), and Blair Brown (The Narrator), with the 130 singers of MasterVoices and Orchestra of St. Luke's. Musical Staging by Andrew Palermo, Costume Consulting by Tracy Christensen, and Concert Adaptation by Joe Keenan and Ted Sperling.

March Features Explosive Lineup Blue Note Hawaii

The March lineup at Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, kicks off with local soulful songwriter, Ron Artis II & The Truth, the Waikiki Edition of Revive the Live and Austin favorite Sharon Bourbonnais. Comedy is king when local funnyman Andy Bumatai graces the stage. Blue Note Hawaii welcomes back one of its favorite artists, jazz guitarist Earl Klugh, followed by groundbreaking Japanese jazz pianist Hiromi, joined on drums by the incomparable Simon Phillips (TOTO, The Who, Judas Priest) and the legendary Blood, Sweat & Tears. Other fantastic shows include a Tribute to Chuck Mangione with Mike Lewis and Friends, Tak Matsumoto with Daniel Ho, Willie K, the Hotclub of Hulaville in an evening of Gypsy Jazz with a Tribute to Django Reinhardt, the Steve Kimock Band, and the 25th Anniversary of the original Hawaiian Style Band.

Last Comic Standing Finalist and Veteran Funny Man Gary Gulman Visits Stroum JCC This Month

On Thursday, December 1, Last Comic Standing finalist and Inside Amy Schumer alumnus, comedian Gary Gulman, returns to Seattle for an exclusive, one-night-only appearance at the Stroum Jewish Community Center. Tickets to this event, rescheduled from earlier in 2016, will be offered to those who purchased tickets for Gulman's February 18 performance, which was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Comedy Dynamics Licenses Ken Weinstock Library, Will Release FirstTitles 9/27

Comedy Dynamics has licensed one of the most respected and treasured collections in stand-up comedy history, the Ken Weinstock Library. It contains a wide array of stand-up from some of the biggest names in television and film, including Dave Chappelle, Adam Sandler, Denis Leary, Tim Allen, and Chris Rock. Comedy Dynamics will begin by releasing Full Frontal Comedy, available on all of its platforms on 9/27. The audio version will be available exclusively on SiriusXM Radio.
