Casting has been announced for the Greenville engagement of Disney's The Lion King. Greenville's most eagerly awaited return will leap onto the Peace Center stage from Wednesday, May 31, to Sunday, June 25. The show's four-week premiere engagement in 2012 played a sold-out run at the Peace Center.
The Salt Lake City return of Disney's The Lion King opens tomorrow, Saturday, March 25 at 8:00pm at the Eccles Theater for, a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, April 16. In Salt Lake City,The Lion King will play Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 2:00pm and 8:00pm, Sundays at 1:00pm and 6:30pm, along with weekday matinees on Thursday, March 30 and Friday, April 14 at 2:00pm. "Thus far sales have exceeded our expectations, but patrons are encouraged to contact the box office for best availability," said John Ballard, MagicSpace Entertainment.

In honor of World Hunger Day on May 28, Sands ECO360° and Sands Cares partnered with local non-profit Three Square Food Bank to hold the second annual "Hunger is Not a Game" food drive, a month-long initiative for team members, that concluded on Monday, June 8.
Yesterday, April 30, 2015, members of the Las Vegas Company of JERSEY BOYS presented Three Square Food Bank with a check to fund 7,000 meals donated to the organization. In celebration of JERSEY BOYS' Four Seasons of Kindness spring initiative and the show's seventh anniversary on the Las Vegas Strip, the Seasons visited the Three Square facilities to present a check to Three Square Food Bank Chief Operating Officer Dan Williams on behalf of the production. The donation serves as a kickoff to a month-long food drive for Three Square taking place this May at Glazier's Food Marketplace, in which the production has challenged the Las Vegas community to match the first 7,000 meals donated.

For the third year, five talented Long Island music students will receive a unique opportunity to study and perform this summer at Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts. The program was developed by Usdan Center in 2011 and supported with a charitable grant from Bethpage Federal Credit Union. The Usdan Center/Bethpage Scholars in the Arts program gives accomplished students who otherwise couldn't attend Usdan, the opportunity to study at the country's largest not-for-profit summer arts day camp. The students were chosen for their fine musicianship and for their achievements as outstanding representatives of their communities.
