On Monday, April 27, at 7:00pm in Carnegie Hall, The New York Pops honored Feinstein's at Loews Regency on its tenth anniversary and congratulates Michael Feinstein and Jonathan Tisch for leading this great New York institution.
The New York Pops presented Once Upon a Time and Tomorrow: The Best of Charles Strouse at Carnegie Hall on Friday, April 3 at 8:00 PM with conductor Martin Yates. This concert was a tribute to the Tony Award-winning composer of Annie, Applause and Bye Bye Birdie. Accompanying The New York Pops were guest artists Gregg Edelman, Debbie Gravitte, Rebecca Luker, Karen Mason, Emma Rowley and Eric Jordan Young. The Young People's Chorus of New York City, directed by Francisco Núñez, were also featured in the evening's program.
FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine, and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, continued its 10th Anniversary season with the debut of 'Avenue Q' and 'Shrek' star John Tartaglia on March 30th.
On March 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., The Collegiate Chorale appeared with The New York City Opera Orchestra at the newly renovated Alice Tully Hall in a performance of Kurt Weill and Ira Gershwin's 1945 Broadway operetta The Firebrand of Florence.
On Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 7 p.m at Weill Recital Hall., the New York Festival of Song presented the benefit concert 'Too Marvelous for Words!,' a gala evening of Johnny Mercer songs starring Anika Noni Rose and Liz Callaway
Darius de Haas, Jason Graae, Mary Cleere Haran, Mary Testa, and Karen Ziemba performed the songs of Cole Porter in the New York Festival of Song's benefit concert Let's Do It!, which was presented on Monday, May 1st at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall
