Cygnet Theatre Celebrates Ten Years With its 2012/2013 Season

Cygnet Theatre announces the 10th Anniversary Season which will, according to the theatre, 'embrace the types of shows that have earned Cygnet its reputation for exciting theatre.' Artistic Director Sean Murray and Executive Director Bill Schmidt will present the 2012/2013 line-up to be performed at Cygnet Theatre in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. Cygnet's tenth season offers productions that hearken back to Cygnet's one-man audience-pleasers, holiday heart-warmers and thrilling musicals still being talked about today! The new season officially begins July 5th, 2012.

Burning Coal Theatre Company to Present ENRON, HENRY V (ON TRAPEZE), & More in 2011-12 Season

Burning Coal Theatre Company, a small professional theatre in Raleigh, North Carolina has announced its 2011-2012 main stage season. It will begin with the riveting music and dance filled Enron by Lucy Prebble, Sept. 8-25, 2011; followed by Shakespeare's Henry V (on Trapeze), Dec. 1-18, 2011; then Man of La Mancha by Darion, Leigh and Wasserman, Feb. 2-19, 2012; and wrapping up with Jude the Obscure, Pts. 1 & 2, a new musical by Ian Finley, Jerome Davis and Bruce Benedict, in repertory, April 12-May 5, 2012.

Burning Coal Theatre Company continues its 15th season with Man of La Mancha by Darion, Leigh and Wasserman. The production will run February 2 - 19, 2012 at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 pm (February 2 - 4, 9 - 11, 16 - 18, 2012) and Sundays at 2 pm (February 5, 12, 19, 2012). Sunday, February 5 at 2 pm is our 'Pay What You Can' Day.

Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Announces 50th Anniversary Season

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey today announced its 2012 season - the 50th Anniversary season of the state's largest professional theatre dedicated to Shakespeare and other world classics, and the longest running Shakespeare Theatre on the East Coast. Founded in 1963 in Cape May by Paul Barry and Philip Dorian as the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, the company was invited to take up residence at Drew University in 1972. 2012 also marks the 40th Anniversary of the Theatre's residency in Madison.
