Having earned a reputation as one of New York's most daring young theater companies, The Amoralists continue to grow in size, ambition and audacity. In the seven years since its founding, the Company has successfully produced 16 productions of ten plays, including nine world premieres, and has quickly moved from basement theaters to Off-Broadway. On the heels of these accomplishments, The Amoralists will kick off 'The Summer of The Amoralists' season with the New York premiere of Mark Roberts' Rantoul and Die, directed by Jay Stull and featuring performances by Derek Ahonen, Sarah Lemp,Matthew Pilieci and Vanessa Vache - all members of The Amoralists' 50-member ensemble.
The Satori Group in collaboration with The Bengsons, a New York City based musical duo, will be debuting work from their new piece The Land Is Always Known at On The Boards' Northwest New Works Festival June 15-16.
TampaWorks is an evening of short plays set in Tampa Bay area locations. This year's TampaWorks is totally a Stageworks production. Playwrights from all over central Florida submitted scripts. The submissions were evaluated by a panel of judges, who chose eight short plays for the production. The production is being sponsored in part by Tucker/Hall, The Tampa Chamber Of Commerce and The Tampa Downtown Partnership. Beginning in July 2013, the Alley Theatre will produce Agatha Christie's The Hollow during its popular ExxonMobil Summer Chills series. Under the direction of Gregory Boyd, the Alley's resident company of actors will bring to life the colorful cast of characters in Agatha Christie's The Hollow.

Culture Project will rename their mainstage theatre, currently known as 45 Bleecker Street, the Lynn Redgrave Theatre this June. The announcement was made onstage by Mr. Buchman during the opening night curtain call for Culture Project's current production of Shaheed: The Dream and Death of Benazir Bhutto. A naming ceremony and commemorative gala in honor of the late Ms. Redgrave will take place today, June 3, 2013 at Stage 48 (605 West 48th Street, New York City). Honorary Chairs for the evening are Vanessa Redgrave, Liam Neeson, and Ms. Redgrave's three children Annabel Clark, Ben Clark, and Pema Clark.

As the top recipient of the Cuyahoga County Arts and Culture's 'Creative Culture' grant, The Dancing Wheels Company will initiate a year-long campaign to bring new hope and a vision of possibility to those who have struggled with the indignities of bullying and other social injustices. The springboard for the campaign is the world premiere of Daring to be Dumbo, an eye-opening production performed by Dancing Wheels' dancers with and without disabilities and choreographed by the esteemed film maker, director and choreographer David Rousseve.
