terraNOVA Collective and IRT Theater present the New York Premiere of LAST CALL, by Terri Girvin. Directed by Drama Desk Award nominee Michael Leeds (Broadway's Swinging On A Star) with an integrated soundscape by Grammy nominated sound designer Phil Palazzolo (Broadway's Hedwig and The Angry Inch), previews begin October 9 at IRT Theater. Opening night is slated for Thursday, October 15.

ONCE's Shaun Peknic to Helm Works by Crystal Skillman and Steve DiUbaldo for LSTFI This Winter

The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute (LSTFI) with The Lee Strasberg Creative Center in collaboration with NYU Tisch School of the Arts' Undergraduate Department of Drama will present two new works by playwrights, Crystal Skillman and Steve DiUbaldo, this year's recipients of The Clifford Odets Ensemble Play Commission, December 3-5 and 10-12 at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre in New York City. A gala will follow the December 5 and 12 performances.

SIDE SHOW's Lauren Elder Recording Debut Album

Lauren Elder, most recently seen in the Broadway revival of SIDE SHOW, is currently recording her debut album of original music. Written by Lauren, the album is being recorded at Motel Room Studios in Long Island City, and co-produced with Bobby Cronin and Dan Crowley.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF), in partnership with the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, returns to Philadelphia for a weeklong musical theater intensive, August 2-9, during which Philadelphia's most promising performers will receive unprecedented instruction from the industry's top directors, choreographers and professionals.  To conclude the weeklong intensive, BDF will present GENERATION, a unique Broadway-style revue featuring performances by Broadway veterans and emerging local talent.

Directed by Sherri Eden Barber, previews began June 5 at IRT Theater with opening night slated for tonight, June 12. Flader replaces Clea Alsip, who leaves to join the cast of Neil Labute's The Way We Get By with Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski.
