ABC Unveils 2014-15 Primetime Schedule!

ABC continues its commitment to world-class storytelling and new creative voices with the announcement of its 2014-15 slate of programming, including the addition of 12 new series.

Cristela Alonzo Set for Comedy Works Landmark Village, 4/17-19

Cristela is a stand-up comedian that has appeared on Conan, Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Gabriel Iglesias' Stand-Up Revolution, Last Comic Standing and Live at Gotham. She was also a featured comedian on Showtime Network's Legally Brown.

Cristela Alonzo Set for Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square, 11/20-24

Cristela Alonzo is a stand-up comedian originally from the border town of San Juan in south Texas. Cristela has appeared on Conan, Comedy Central's Live at Gotham and Gabriel Iglesias' Presents Stand Up Revolution. She was also a featured comedian on Showtime Network's Legally Brown. She just recently made her acting debut appearing on FX's Sons of Anarchy. Cristela is one of the most popular stand-up comedians in the college market, having performed at almost 300 colleges in the past three years.

Forewords at Central Park, Comedy Central's Jeff Ross and More Set for SummerStage 2013's Comedy and Spoken Word Acts

SummerStage's 2013 season features the debut of Forewords at Central Park, a new series of spoken word discussions with performing artists including Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent of The Zombies with Jonathan Demme onJune 15 and DJ Kool Herc with Cindy Campbell and hip-hop historian Jeff Chang on August 10. Comedy Central presents three great stand-up showcases this year, including a Central Park show on June 26 including performances from Jeff Ross, John Mulaney, Gabriel Iglesias and Amy Schumer. Influential New York poet Sekou Sundiata receives tribute on July 3 from three great artists: Toshi Reagon, Sandra St. Victor and Nona Hendryx.

The second season of 'The Half Hour' is here! Comedy Central continues to shine a spotlight on some of the best and brightest in comedy today in this stand-up series, premiering tonight, May 3 at Midnight ET/PT and 12:30 a.m. ET/PT with specials from Dan Soder and Nikki Glaser.

Comedy Central to Stage 3 Free NYC Summer Shows

For the first time since 2007, COMEDY CENTRAL Live is holding three free comedy events to mark its seventh consecutive year partnering with the City Parks Foundation. In addition to the highly successful annual SummerStage comedy showcase in Central Park, shows will also be held in Manhattan's East River Park and Brooklyn's Red Hook Park.
