The Huntington Theatre Company continues its 28th season - a season of American stories - with artistic director Peter DuBois' hit 2009 Off Broadway production of Becky Shaw, a wickedly funny black comedy about a blind date gone bad.

The Metropolitan Opera and the English National Opera (ENO) will co-produce a world premiere production of composer Nico Muhly's first opera. With a libretto by Craig Lucas, the opera is a fictionalized story based on a true incident in which a teenager attempts to arrange his own murder via the internet.

The sights and sounds of Italy alight in Arlington's Crystal City as Arena Stage presents the lush and soaring The Light in the Piazza, directed by Arena Stage Artistic Director Molly Smith.

The show is scheduled to run through Sunday, May 23rd, 2010.

An American architect gets a mysterious assignment from a Middle Eastern dignitary in the latest play from Howard Korder, which will have its world premiere March 7-28 on the Julianne Argyros Stage.
