NIGHTLINE Takes Opening Week of Season in Total Viewers

ABC News' “Nightline” won the opening week of the 2014-15 season in Total Viewers (1.780 million) during the week of September 22, 2014, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” outperformed CBS' “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” by 271,000 Total Viewers and NBC's “Late Night with Seth Meyers” by 282,000 Total Viewers. In fact, “Nightline” outdrew the NBC program by its largest-ever Total Viewer advantage during a week of originals.
