After a wildly successful debut in 2012, 100 New England comedians will be telling their first joke of the year over two shows at the theatre. At 8 p.m. ET, 'A White House Christmas: First Families Remember' (1.6/5 in 18-49, 8.5 million viewers overall) earned NBC's highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period since an NFL telecast on November 22. In a competitive slot versus Fox's 'X Factor' finale, CBS's encore comedies and ABC's 'Charlie Brown' special, 'A White House Christmas' improved on NBC's time-period average from last season by 7 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.5) and by 145 percent in total viewers (8.462 million vs. 3.451 million, L+SD non-sports). In total viewers, 'A White House Christmas: First Families Remember' was competitive with Fox's 'X Factor' finale (8.462 million vs. 8.948 million for 'X Factor' in that hour).

NBC's 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' and 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' have earned #1 results for the late-night week of December 10-14, with Jay delivering bigger 18-49 and total-viewer audiences than CBS's 'Late Show with David Letterman' and ABC's combination of 'Nightline' and 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' in the hour and 'Late Night' topping CBS's 'Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' in 18-49 viewers and total viewers.
MISS UNIVERSE 2012 Up 15% in Viewership from Last Year

* From 8-10 p.m. ET, 'Miss Universe 2012' (1.8/5 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall) grew by 13 percent versus last year's telecast in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.6) and was up 15 percent in total viewers (6.1 million vs. 5.3 million). Note that last year's coverage ran from 9-11 p.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 12, 2011. In total viewers, this is the biggest 'Miss Universe' audience in four years (since 2008, 6.7 million). Versus NBC's average in the time period last season, 'Miss Universe' is up 50 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.2, L+SD non-sports). 'Miss Universe' ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, total viewers and all other key ratings measures.
