The Los Angeles Philharmonic and Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel ushered in the orchestra's Centennial season with a celebratory Opening Night Concert & Gala, California Soul, Thursday, September 27, 7 pm, at Walt Disney Concert Hall. According to Variety,  Tony Winner Mary Louise Parker (Proof, Angels in America, Weeds) will star alongside another Tony Winner Courtney B. Vance (Lucky Guy, Law & Order) in the new FX comedy series COMPLIANCE. The show will be directed by Sam Gold (Fun Home) and produced by Scott Rudin Productions.

Variety reported today that actor Courtney B. Vance will be joining the previously announced Julia Roberts, Kathryn Newton, and Lucas Hedges in the upcoming BEN IS BACK.
