The Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots is still bringing audiences to their feet nightly at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street). The show has enlisted the help of Broadway's favorite pint-sized critic, Iain Armitage, to spread the message of the musical to kids everywhere. Twice in January, KINKY BOOTS' Ellyn Marie Marsh sold out Broadway's Supper, Club 54 Below, with her one-of-a-kind solo show 'Inappropriate.' In these highlights, Marsh belts out the Spice Girls, 'THE LAST FIVE YEARS in Five Minutes' with Adam Kaplan, a roof-shaking moment from BROOKLYN, 'Kids Singing Inappropriate $h!t' with Mia Sinclair Jenness, '$h!t I Didn't Book' from LEGALLY BLONDE, 'Gender Confused Duets' with Cortney Wolfson and Joey Taranto, and an all-star finale from PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT.

Kyle Taylor Parker, who has been starring as 'Lola' in the National Tour of the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots, steps into the role on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) for three months, taking over for Tony Award-winner Billy Porter. Kyle Taylor Parker, who has been starring as 'Lola' in the National Tour of the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots, steps into the role on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) for three months, taking over for Tony Award-winner Billy Porter. Parker was originally slated to begin performances tonight, January 27, but due to Winter Storm Juno, the actor will make his debut on Thursday, January 29, instead. Last week I spoke with KINKY BOOTS' Ellyn Marie Marsh about the encore performance of her solo show debut 'Inappropriate' at 54 Below. Lilla Crawford (Into the Woods), Lilli Cooper (Wicked), Tamika Sonia Lawrence (If/Then), Liz McCartney (Taboo), Jessica Phillips (Next to Normal), Zachary Prince (Honeymoon in Vegas), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia), Kacie Sheik (HAIR,) and Cortney Wolfson (Kinky Boots) have joined the lineup of Broadway performers who will sing at the Cutting-Edge Composers concert at 54 Below on Jan. 25 at 9:30pm.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Kyle Taylor Parker, who is currently earning raves as 'Lola' in the National Tour of the Tony Award®-winning musical Kinky Boots, will step into the role on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) for three months, taking over for Tony® Award-winner Billy Porter from January 27 – April 26, 2015. Porter will return toKinky Boots on April 28, 2015, and has extended his contract through January 2016.

THE BIRDS & THE BEES: UNABRIDGED explores the unique -- yet interwoven -- life circumstances of eight women & trans people forced to confront their own sexuality, realizing that sexuality itself is not simple or clear-cut. Through dialogue, movement, song, humor, and multimedia, the performance examines such themes as partner communication, sexual identity, the de-sexualization of aging women, today's 'hook-up' culture, and sexual health.
