Anything Goes. Oklahoma. Follies. La Cage Aux Folles. Those four musicals, plus many others, all got their start at Boston's important Colonial Theatre. Now, as the Colonial is in danger of shutting it doors, Feinstein's/54 Below celebrated the famed venue with an evening of songs and stories last night and BroadwayWorld was there.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Legendary director Hal Prince, writers Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, and others have contributed anecdotes and memories to be read during  Feinstein's/54 Below star studded tribute to Boston's Colonial Theatre, which will take place on April 19th & 20th, 2016, at 9:30pm.

This April, Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz and beyond.

Joe Iconis (Be More Chill), Jim Brochu (Zero Hour), Rebecca Eichenberger (The Phantom of the Opera), Andrew Leggieri (The Bandstand), and Ryan Scott Oliver & Lindsay Mendez's Actor's Therapy NYC have joined Feinstein's/54 Below star studded tribute to Boston's Colonial Theatre, which will take place on April 19th & 20th, 2016, at 9:30pm.

Tickets are now available for Fracture Theatre Co.'s production of URINETOWN: THE MUSICAL. The show will be recreated in it's original Off-Broadway home, The American Theatre of Actors with a cast of 23. The show will run from October 16th to the 24th with rehearsals scheduled to begin Sept. 8th.

Today, June 26th the Labyrinth Theatre Company will host a private industry reading of Five Points: An American Musical. Directed by Dan Knechtges, Five Points features a book by Harrison David Rivers, music by Douglas Lyons and Ethan Pakchar and lyrics by Douglas Lyons.
