'Orphaned Songs for Orphaned Starfish' - a concert of composer Stephen Schwartz (Monday, November 19 at The Cutting Room), was an evening of unsung/cut songs from Wicked, Pippin, Working, and Children of Eden along with a new duet from the stage production of The Prince of Egypt. The concert also included some favorites from The Bakers Wife, Magic Show, Pippin, Pocahontas, Wicked and his opera Seance On a Wet Afternoon. The benefit evening for The Orphaned Starfish Foundation raised over $60,000.

If you were in The Cutting Room for the Stephen Schwartz Concert for the Benefit of the Orphaned Starfish Foundation it is a night you will probably cherish forever. The music of Stephen Schwartz performed by an incredible array of Broadway and stage talent was one of the most inspiring and remarkable events to be a part of.

World-renowned opera singer and Broadway star Alyson Cambridge will perform a special holiday solo concert, accompanied by pianist Michael Fennelly, at Carnegie Hall's beautiful Weill Recital Hall on Sunday, November 25 at 7:30PM.

Coming to The Green Room 42, the hilarious, manic, and heartwarming musical spoof, Gutenberg! The Musical! An overwhelmingly enthusiastic pair of aspiring playwrights perform a backers' audition for their new project: a big, splashy musical about printing press inventor, Johann Gutenberg. Writers Bud and Doug sing all the songs and play all the parts in their crass historical epic, with the hope that one of the producers in attendance will give them a Broadway contract; fulfilling their ill-advised, yet hearteningly sincere dreams.

Just last night, Only Make Believe honored Bethenny Frankel with the Sir Ian McKellen Award for her global philanthropic work for families in crisis through her Bstrong initiative in partnership with delivering good disaster relief charity, as well as Tony Winning playwright / lyricist/ composer Joe DiPietro with the Founder's Award for his for tireless commitment to OMB for 19 years and OMB's first partner facility The Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation at NYU Langone with the OMB Star Award. 'Make Believe On Broadway', which was held last night at the Schoenfeld Theatre, was hosted by the hilarious Rachel Dratch.

One of the most gorgeous voices in New York belongs to the four time Tony Award nominee for Excellence in Theatre Education, Corinna Sowers Adler, who returns to The Green Room in her acclaimed show Second Stories on Friday, December 7 at 7pm and Sunday, December 9 at 2pm.

An array of  talent from Broadway and stage will join composer Stephen Schwartz for a special concert titled 'Orphaned Songs for Orphaned Starfish.'  The 7:00 pm event on  Monday, November 19th, and held at The Cutting Room, 44 East 32nd Street, NYC  benefits The Orphaned Starfish Foundation www.osf.org. A deeply personal show, it traces her journey from stage to motherhood and back again, sprinkled with a healthy dose of humor and honesty. Featuring music from both the worlds of musical theatre and pop, it has everything from Laura Nyro to Sara Bareilles, from Working to Wicked, also including the iconic songs that were highlights in her career.
