The producers of IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, the stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, have announced casting for the upcoming National Tour.

Startling, stunning and evocative performances by an ensemble of Nashville actors performing at the top of their game in an altogether effective and moving production of a contemporary classic: that's what audiences are likely recalling now - hours, days, weeks - after experiencing the latest artistic achievement from Studio Tenn. Following up the opening of their 2016-17 season -  a critically lauded revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita, which launched the annual Broadway series at Tennessee Performing Arts Center - Studio Tenn presents another Broadway-worthy reiteration in the form of Bernard Pomerance's The Elephant Man.

The Equity national tour of Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS, currently playing at the new Eccles Theater, brings exactly the kind of nostalgia one is looking for at this time of year.

White Christmas, always a treat on film (1954), creates a unique and refreshing glow on stage. The original Broadway and touring productions - the first national tour played the Pantages in 2005 - were gloriously directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Randy Skinner, who turned the second act opener 'I Love a Piano' into one of the most inventive and lively tap sequences ever. Now in a short tour and directed and choreographed by Skinner, White Christmas The Musical finally returns to the Pantages but only for a week, through December 4. This is a sparkling production with terrifically paced staging and superior choreography by Skinner and a sturdy acting ensemble which includes the presence of  the delightfully funny Lorna Luft as Martha Watson. Yes, it's a frothy concoction and weak on plot, but so heartwarming and... with the spectacular Irving Berlin tunes, who cares? Run to get tickets while they are available!

 The producers of IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, the stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, have announced casting for the upcoming National Tour.   The show will star Sean Montgomery as 'Bob Wallace', Jeremy Benton as 'Phil Davis', Kerry Conte as 'Betty Haynes', and Kelly Sheehan as 'Judy Haynes'.  Also featured are Lorna Luft as 'Martha Watson', Conrad John Schuck as 'General Waverly', Dave Schoonover as 'Ralph Sheldrake', Aaron Galligan-Stierle as 'Mike Nulty', Frank Ridley as 'Ezekiel Foster', and Clancy and Samantha Penny as 'Susan Waverly'. Rounding out the cast are Kelly Black, Maria Rose Briggs, Elish Conlon, Laurie DiFilippo, Sarah Fagan, Matthew Kilgore, Danny McHugh, Chris McNiff, Kara Mikula, Bryan Charles Moore, Kristyn Pope, Jake Primmerman, Sean Quinn, Rachel Rhodes-Devey, Jessica Wockenfuss, and John T. Wolfe.  

David Perlman - who plays Ralph Sheldrake, the sometimes manipulative, always cunning television producer in Irving Berlin's White Christmas - admits he may have been a tad 'aggressively inspirational' recently when it came time to persuade his castmates and company cohorts to take part in a pet project that ultimately became a labor of love and yuletide revelry for the lot them.

The production will be traveling to Knoxville, Newport, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Providence, Rochester and Schenectady during the 2015 holiday season.
