Westport Country Playhouse (WCP) announces that Broadway Method Academy (BMA) of Fairfield will be Resident Conservatory of WCP, presenting a series of programs on the Playhouse campus.
The casting search for Broadway Method Academy's upcoming production of the blockbuster hit Legally Blonde, which will play The Quick Center for the Arts July 29-30, will begin next weekend in Fairfield, CT.
Broadway Method Academy, a musical theater program in downtown Fairfield, Connecticut opened the smash hit, Little Shop of Horrors. The non-profit organization's mission is connecting the stars of today with the stars of tomorrow, and this production welcomed to Broadway designers Ryan Howell, Weston G. Wetzel and Kaitie Adams.
Broadway Method Academy is hosting the second annual benefit concert 'Broadway Sings". Broadway Method Academy's Executive Director, Connor Deane says the evening will be filled with top-notch talent from both BMA and New York, including some of Broadway's top performers. Deane says, "The fundraiser's support will be dedicated to empowering students and igniting possibilities through scholarship opportunities and so much more. Your support helps attract the best and brightest talent, in turn, enriching our community and fueling the future of the arts!"

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
It was theatre magic at its best: rain lightly came down on closing night as the entire cast of LES MISERABLES at The Muny belted out 'The Epilogue' one more time. The audience lept to their feet as the final notes hung in the air. All week long, The Muny experienced a complete standing ovation before the curtain call began, something that Muny goers said hasn't happened in at least 35 years. The cast of LES MISERABLES experienced the audience's appreciation all week long and their final performance was no exception.
