Between this year's early Jewish holidays and that darned phase-in at my son's pre-K (didn't he just go to camp ALL DAY LONG this summer?), it took until this week for my house to actually be empty between the hours of nine and three. It's finally time to start picking some shows for my kids and here's what I'm interested in for the fall:

Revlon, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has elected David L. Kennedy as Vice Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Alan Ennis, who has decided to leave the Company to pursue other interests. Mr. Kennedy is currently Vice Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors and served as a senior executive of Revlon from 2002 to 2009, including as President and CEO of Revlon from 2006 to 2009. Mr. Kennedy's appointment is effective immediately and Revlon anticipates the appointment of his successor in the near term.

THE INTERVIEW is described as 'topical comedy,' is based on a story by Goldberg, Rogen and 'The Daily Show's Dan Sterling. It follows 'a handsome talk show host (potentially Franco) and his producer (Rogen) who find themselves in way over their heads when they get involved in a plot to assassinate the prime minister of North Korea,' according to THR.

Principal photography began September 28 th, 2013 on Columbia Pictures' and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures' 22 Jump Street, the sequel to the 2012 action-comedy blockbuster 21 Jump Street, which took in more than $200 million at the worldwide box office.

IMAX Corporation, today announced that Captain Phillips will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX format and released in select IMAX theatres worldwide beginning October 11.

Rhimes will pen the screenplay for the drama, which follows a group of female war corresponddents, for Sony's Columbia Pictures, with Mark Gordon on board to produce. The duo previously worked together on GREY'S and its spin-off PRIVATE PRACTICE.
