Following the recent announcement that Spider-Man is the first Super Hero ambassador for Earth Hour, the global movement organised by WWF, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone from the highly anticipated motion picture The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have chosen to back two separate projects on 'Earth Hour Blue', a new crowdfunding and crowdsourcing platform for the planet.

For DIRECTOR'S CHOICE, the fourth program of Pacific Northwest Ballet's 2013-2014 season, Artistic Director Peter Boal selects from his roster of acquisitions and increases them by one: The captivating mixed-bill program will feature a much-anticipated world premiere by Alejandro Cerrudo, resident choreographer of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. The program also reprises audience favorites TAKE FIVE…More or Less, Broadway-darling Susan Stroman's sunny slice of jazz-infused Dave Brubeck fun; and Susan Marshall's distinctive aerial duet, Kiss. Rounding out the lineup is Molissa Fenley's State of Darkness, a tour-de-force solo performance set to Stravinsky's riot-inducing The Rite of Spring. DIRECTOR'S CHOICE runs for seven performances only, March 14 through 23 at Seattle Center's Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild tonight announced winners of its Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists awards in 14 categories of film, television, commercials and live theater during the black-tie ceremony at the Paramount Studios Theatre. MAC Cosmetics was the Official Cocktail Reception Sponsor. The awards took place before an audience of more than 500, including guild members, industry executives and press. The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild's President Sue Cabral-Ebert presided over the awards ceremony with actor/comedian Tom Arnold serving as host.

PAC-MAN to Round Out Season 2 on Disney XD

41 Entertainment ('41e'), Arad Productions ('AP') and NAMCO BANDAI Games ('NBGI') announced today that they have commissioned an additional 13 episodes to complete Season II for the PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures property (the 'Property'). The TV series, currently consisting of 39 x 22' episodes will be expanded to 52 x 22'. The full season will premiere on Disney XD U.S.

"Gravity" (Warner Bros.) swept several categories including: best "Live Action 3D Feature," best "Stereography - Live Action," best "3D Scene of the Year," and best "2D to 3D Conversion." Two of the Society's Lumiere statuettes were presented to "Frozen" (Walt Disney Animation Studios) for best "Animated 3D Feature" and best "Stereography - Animation."

SAG-AFTRA presented its coveted Actor® statuette for the outstanding motion picture and primetime television performances of 2013 at the "20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®" in ceremonies attended by film and television's leading actors, held Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. The "20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®" was simulcast live coast-to-coast by TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT). A live stream of the SAG Awards® was also available for viewing online at sagawards.tntdrama.com and tbs.com, as well as through the Watch TBS and Watch TNT apps for iOS or Android. An encore presentation was telecast on TNT at 10 p.m. (ET)/7 p.m. (PT).
