Sounds of the Season will feature holiday classics including 'Merry Christmas Darling,' 'O Holy Night,' 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,' 'What Are You Doing New Year's Eve,' 'Let It Snow' and 'White Christmas,' as well as more contemporary seasonal tunes, accompanied by a swinging trio and performed by some of the most dynamic vocalists in NYC.

On Sunday, December 10 at 5PM, Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director), assisted by director/lyricist Peter Napolitano have announced that they will close their celebrated cabaret series WINTER RHYTHMS with the New York Premiere of Steve Ross's Irvin Berlin Show. The show will be followed by a champagne supper. Tickets for this event are $75 ($50 for MAC Members) and can be purchased by visiting www.SmartTix.com or calling 212 868-4444. On Sunday, November 27, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented Christine Ebersole with the Aaron Weinstein Trio (Weinstein on violin/mandolin, Tedd Firth on piano and Tom Hubbard on bass). There were sublime arrangements of unique material by Fats Waller, Dave Frishberg, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer and Cannonball Adderly, including 'Can't Take You Nowhere,' 'Moon Dreams,' 'Tangerine,' 'Fine and Dandy,' and 'Shall We Dance.' Andrea Marcovicci - the acclaimed singer and actress dubbed 'The High Priestess of the American Songbook' by The New York Times - will celebrate her landmark 25th anniversary at the famed Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel. Her new show 'No Strings' runs from November 15 to December 30, featuring Music Director Shelly Markham on piano and Jered Egan on bass. For the second year in a row, Andrea will offer a special holiday performance on Monday, December 26 at 7:30 PM. The sophisticated entertainer holds the record for the longest continuous run in the Oak Room's history.
