Sounds of the Season will feature holiday classics including 'Merry Christmas Darling,' 'O Holy Night,' 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,' 'What Are You Doing New Year's Eve,' 'Let It Snow' and 'White Christmas,' as well as more contemporary seasonal tunes, accompanied by a swinging trio and performed by some of the most dynamic vocalists in NYC.

On Sunday, December 10 at 5PM, Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director), assisted by director/lyricist Peter Napolitano have announced that they will close their celebrated cabaret series WINTER RHYTHMS with the New York Premiere of Steve Ross's Irvin Berlin Show. Meredith Willson's ever popular story about the unlikely romance between a flashy con artist and a staid librarian, 'The Music Man,' featuring such favorites as '76 Trombones' and 'Ya Got Trouble,' will be the Christmas Eve presentation December 24 at 9 p.m. on Reel 13, THIRTEEN's weekly movie showcase for classic, short and independent films.

Andrea Marcovicci - the acclaimed singer and actress dubbed 'The High Priestess of the American Songbook' by The New York Times - will celebrate her landmark 25th anniversary at the famed Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel. Her new show 'No Strings' runs from November 15 to December 30, featuring Music Director Shelly Markham on piano and Jered Egan on bass. For the second year in a row, Andrea will offer a special holiday performance on Monday, December 26 at 7:30 PM. The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, called 'a riotously funny and campy variety show' by Next Magazine, and 'a rollicking, wry affair complete with funny political commentary on current events' by Gay City News, will present their newest edition on Thursday, November 17 at 9:30 PM.

Following nineteen sold out shows, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, the acclaimed and award-winning cabaret series, will conclude with a twentieth and final installment on Monday, November 28 at 7pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. Sondheim Unplugged is currently celebrating the second year of it's smash run, having begun this journey of celebrating Sondheim in July of 2010.
