Quintessence of Dust Theatre Company/Rachel Kunstadt presents a one night only staged reading of Pulitzer Prize winning musical Next to Normal to benefit The JED Foundation. Directed by Daniella Caggiano and with music direction by Janet Noh, the event will take place on Thursday, February 1st at 7:00 pm at JCC Manhattan on 334 Amsterdam Avenue on the Upper West Side.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the first show of its 2017-2018 Season, the world premiere musical Benny & Joon, with book by Kirsten Guenther, music by Nolan Gasser, and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein.

Big Babies will be performed as part of Adirondack Theatre Festival's new play reading series. The readings will take place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, and Thursday, July 6, in the cabaret space of the Charles R. Wood Theater.

George Street Playhouse announced today that its recent Annual Gala Benefit was the most successful in the event's history, raising a record amount of funds in support of its mainstage and educational programming. The Gala took place at The Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick on Sunday, April 2, 2017, and featured many stars of the stage and screen as presenters and performers. George Street Playhouse has announced an initial roster of Broadway, film and television stars expected to appear at its Annual Gala Benefit on Sunday, April 2, 2017, 5 p.m., at The Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick.

On March 13, Vineyard Theatre's 2017 Gala Fundraiser celebrated the 10th anniversary of Vineyard Theatre's hit musical [title of show] with Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen, Susan Blackwell, Heidi Blickenstaff, and a toast to Broadway producer Kevin McCollum.

Vineyard Theatre's Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announce that Joanna Gleason and Chris Sarandon are set to host the 2017 Gala Fundraiser celebrating the 10th anniversary of Vineyard Theatre's hit musical [title of show] with Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen, Susan Blackwell, Heidi Blickenstaff, and a toast to Broadway producer Kevin McCollum.  Michael Berresse will direct the gala show.  Larry Pressgrove will be the music director. The annual Gala Fundraiser will take place on Monday, March 13, 2017, beginning at 6:30pm, at Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue).

The acclaimed Fiasco Theater production of INTO THE WOODS, the celebrated new production of the Tony Award-winning musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, launched a national tour in December, and will continue to San Francisco, Los Angeles and Dallas this spring. It has been quite the whirlwind for the multi-faceted Colin Hanlon who spent this past holiday season taking on double-duty in two Broadway productions - In Transit and Falsettos. Hanlon played a large part in developing the role of Steven in the a cappella musical and is currently stepping in for Telly Leung who will return at the end of January.

The producers of IN TRANSIT announced today that Telly Leung (Allegiance) will return to the role of 'Steven' beginning Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street), following a leave of absence due to an unexpected personal family obligation.
