Last year Jimmy Kimmel declared November 17 - National UnFriend Day (NUD). NUD is a holiday dedicated to giving Facebook users the opportunity to 'unfriend' people without any guilt. This annual event was created to weed out people on Facebook whom users wouldn't usually have contact with in their day to day lives, reserving the connection only for true friends.

Following Halloween, Jimmy Kimmel challenged parents to pretend they'd eaten all of their kids' trick or treat candy, video tape each child's reaction to the bad news and then post it to YouTube. The late-night host shared the results in a video -- and the kids were pissed. The video has grown exponentially over the past week, with more than 14 million views on YouTube.

George Manus has been a part of the theater community in Nashville and Middle Tennessee for so long that it's easy to forget he's not yet 40 years old. He cut his teeth as a young director at Dennis Ewing's late and lamented Actors Playhouse of Nashville, which led him to spearhead the opening of his own theater company, DreamWeaver Productions on Third Avenue South in downtown Nashville during the early to mid-1990s, and now he heads up Murfreesboro's Out Front On Main, a storefront operation that specializes in bringing edgier theater to that burgeoning college town.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today that producer, director, writer and Principal Partner of DreamWorks Studios Steven Spielberg will receive the 2012 David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Motion Pictures. The award will be presented to Spielberg at the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards ceremony on Saturday, January 21st at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
