LaMaMa, E.T.C. presents Alfred Preisser and Randy Weiner's CALIGULA MAXIMUS, a project with Hammerstein & Weiner, LLC, Christopher McElroen, Alfred Preisser and Kingsize, USA, at La MaMa's newly renamed Ellen Stewart Theatre. Performances for CALIGULA MAXIMUS at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre, 74A E. 4th St. begin on March 11 and run through April 4.

Full Cast Announced for AMERICAN IDIOT; Cast to Appear on Grammy Awards

Producers Tom Hulce and Ira Pittelman announced the complete Broadway cast of AMERICAN IDIOT today. The production will begin previews on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 and open on Broadway Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44 Street).

Winner of the Herald Angels, Total Theatre and Fringe First Awards at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Once and For All...will be presented by The New Victory as part of the 2010 Under The Radar Festival and will run at The Duke on 42nd Street through January 17, 2010.

William Inge Theatre Festival Announces Otis Guernsey New Voices Award Recipient

The up-and-coming playwright and performer Katori Hall has been selected winner of the 2010 William Inge Theatre Festival's Otis Guernsey New Voices in the American Theatre Award. Hall will be presented with the award during the 29th Annual Inge Festival April 21-24 in Independence, Kansas, at Independence Community College.

Andre De Shields Brings MINE EYES HAVE SEEN THE GLORY to Abingdon Theatre, 2/4 - 2/14

In celebration of Black History Month 2010, The Working Theater Mark Plesent, Producing Director, will present award-winning Broadway star André De Shields performing his solo work-in-progress entitled Mine Eyes Have Seen The Glory: From Douglass to Deliverance for 12 performances only from Thursday, February 4 through Sunday February 14 at the Abingdon Theater, 312 West 36 Street. Conceived, researched and written by Mr. De Shields, Mine Eyes is directed by Alfred Preisser.
