New Showtime Drama I'M DYING UP HERE Available for Early Sampling

SHOWTIME is giving viewers nationwide an early opportunity to sample the series premiere of the network's highly anticipated new drama series I'M DYING UP HERE for free, ahead of its on-air debut on Sunday, June 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Amy Hoerler to Appear in DOG YEARS with Burt Reynolds

According to actor Amy Hoerler, being chosen to play a nurse in the new Burt Reynolds' movie, Dog Years, was "… the biggest thing I've ever done in my career." Dog Years, written and directed by Adam Rifkin, is the story of an aging former movie star who is forced to face the reality that his glory days are behind him. Rifkin wrote the script especially for Reynolds and described the story by saying, "On the surface, Dog Years is a tale of faded fame, but at its core, it's a universal story about growing old." In the movie, Reynolds plays aging movie actor, Vic Edwards, who is invited to a Nashville film festival to accept a lifetime achievement award but event do not turn out as expected.

Burt Reynolds Wraps Filming on DOG YEARS

Never one to rest on his laurels, Florida's favorite son, Burt Reynolds, spent the month of June in Knoxville, Tennessee, filming his latest movie. Dog Years, written and directed by Adam Rifkin, is the story of an aging former movie star who is forced to face the reality that his glory days are behind him. Jake Lacy Joins Cast of Showtime's I'M DYING UP HERE

 Film and television star Jake Lacy has joined the ensemble cast of the new SHOWTIME one-hour comedy series I'M DYING UP HERE in a series regular role. Lacy will play a stand-up comic who gained some notoriety a few years back by blowing off The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson on the night he was scheduled to appear.
