Writers Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma, presents A Moon for the Misbegotten, written by Eugene O'Neill and directed by WT Resident Director William Brown. A Moon for the Misbegotten runs February 7 March 18, 2018 in the Alexandra C. and John D. Nichols Theatre at 325 Tudor Court, Glencoe. The Press Opening is Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Join 4th Wall Theatre for Reckless, the classic American, dark holiday comedy by Craig Lucas. This reimagining of the company's 2010 Houston production once again stars Kim Tobin-Lehl as the put-upon protagonist, Rachel, and features a strong ensemble cast including former Alley Theatre company member John Feltch; 4th Wall favorites Jennifer Dean and Nick Farco; and Deborah Hope, Kathleen Teodoro, and Zac Kelty in their 4th Wall debuts. Directed by Philip Lehl, Reckless previews November 30th and runs December 1st - 16th at STUDIO 101, Spring Street Studios.
ALMOST, MAINE Opens Fall Season at Peninsula Players Theatre

On a moonless night, the residents of a remote, mythical town find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways in the charming, offbeat comedy "Almost, Maine" by John Cariani. "Almost, Maine" is the final play of the 2017 season at Peninsula Players and launches the theater into its fall season September 6 through October 15. While the northern lights dance overhead, the not-so-tough women and men crack some beer and try to make sense of love.

Antony Raymond's new play, Apartment 301, opened at the Access Theater in Tribeca last week. The World Premiere is being produced by the award-winning Elsinore County Theatre Company and is directed by Raymond. The company's previous plays have been recognized by the New York Innovative Theatre Awards and have received critical acclaim. Raymond's past productions include Pretty Babies, yeah, i met this girl…, JULIO!, and The Title Should Be Spoken Out Loud Around Three-Quarters In (Dream Up Festival 2016), among others.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) and CPA Theatricals present Numbers Nerds, the [almost] all-girl math challenge, with book by Laura Stratford, Music by David Kornfeld, lyrics by Alex Higgin-Houser, additional music by Dylan MarcAurele and original story by Larry Little. Amber Mak, New Works Development Director at Chicago's Paramount Theatre, directs and choreographs a cast of six, including Danielle Davila, Madison Kauffman, Jake Morrissy, Maisie Rose, Sharon Sachs (Film: 'Home Alone;' TV: 'Weeds,' 'Dexter,' 'Grimm') and Tiffany Tatreau (Ride the Cyclone). Six performances will be staged at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 West 42nd Street, New York City from July 19-23, 2017.
