PETER RABBIT & THE GARDEN' Runs Now thru 3/8 at HTY

Honolulu Theatre for Youth presents a brand new, original stage adaptation of Beatrix Potter's beloved Peter Rabbit stories. PETER RABBIT AND THE GARDEN was created especially for Hawaii's youngest theatre audiences by Annie Cusick Wood and the HTY company. The play designed for ages 3 and up is on stage Saturdays, today, Feb. 22, Mar. 1 and Mar. 8 at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.

Stephen Fry, who is making his Broadway acting debut as Malvolio in the critically acclaimed Shakespeare's Globe production of TWELFTH NIGHT, will be a guest on 'The Colbert Report' on Thursday, October 24. 'The Colbert Report' airs at 11:30 PM ET on Comedy Central, 10:30 PM Central.

Stage Left Theatre announces their upcoming revival of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg written by Peter Nichols and directed by ensemble member Greg Werstler. A Day in the Death of Joe Egg is the second production of Stage Left's 32ndseason. Press opening is Tuesday, January 14th at 7:30 PM at Theater Wit, 1229 W Belmont. The show runs through February 16th.

The cast of a season of short plays by maverick writer, director and actor Steven Berkoff has been announced. Fresh from her departure from Eastenders as Jean Slater, Gillian Wright will star, with Anthony Barclay, Lucy Hollis, Tom Lincoln and Clive Mendus. The season will present five world premieres and will be co-directed by Berkoff himself and Jermyn Street Theatre Associate Director Max Barton.

People's Light & Theatre was the recipient of the Harold Oaks Award in recognition of their work with young audiences in connection with their recent production of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. In its inaugural year, the award was established to acknowledge the significant contributions of individuals and organizations in the Theatre for Young Audiences field in the US. Theatrical Management Association Elects Majority Female Council for 1st Time in Its History

The Theatrical Management Association (TMA), the UK's largest and longest established theatre trade association, announced today that the results of the elections to its ruling council mean that for the first time it will be governed by a female majority. The organisation President Rachel Tackley begins a second three-year term as President. Anna Williams succeeds John Stalker as elected Vice President.
