Jackson Theatre Presents VIKINGS RAID BROADWAY, 12/27

Alumni actors, musicians and other stage professionals of Montgomery High School are bringing Broadway and beyond back to Sonoma County for one special evening benefit performance, 6-9:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 27.

BWW Interviews: Merritt David Janes, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, January 12 – 16.

"Tale as old as time.." as the title song so beautifully tells us, but when Beauty and the Beast returns to the Fabulous Fox Theatre January 12 - 16, Atlanta audiences are in for something new. The hit Broadway musical has been tweaked and updated and this newly reworked tour is sure to please. Inviting audiences to "Be Our Guest" in this new production is actor Merritt David Janes who plays the fiery Lumiere. We caught up with Merritt and chatted about his career, the updates to the show and what it's like playing a candlestick.

The Arabian Nights runs January 14-February 20, 2011 in the Fichandler Stage.

Pearce, Marcus et al. Complete Cast for EMMA at The Old Globe

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for Jane Austen's Emma - A Musical Romantic Comedy. The musical, with book, music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Paul Gordon and direction by Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun, will run in the Old Globe Theatre Jan. 15 - Feb. 27.
