California Musical Theatre has announced its 2007 Music Circus season with seven large-scale musical productions and seasoned Broadway veterans helming casts! Nancy Opel, Laura Griffith, Adinah Alexander, James Barbour, Walter Charles, Michael Gruber and others star!
A private concert reading of Simeon's Gift, a new family musical by Julie Andrews Edwards and Emma Walton Hamilton, took place at Bay Street Theatre on February 10. It was the first event of Bay Street's Family Theatre Initiative. The show is being developed for full production next November at Bay Street Theatre followed by a national tour in 2008.
