Singer KEVIN DOZIER will bring his acclaimed cabaret show 'TAKE ME TO THE WORLD' to The Laurie Beechman Theatre at West Bank Café, 407 West 42nd Street, on Tuesday, October 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 7 PM. The evening, directed by Lennie Watts, includes songs by Maltby and Shire, Jones and Schmidt, Irving Berlin, Jerry Herman, Lerner and Loewe, Stephen Sondheim, Noel Coward, Ervin Drake, Rusty Magee, Alex Rybeck and others. Kevin debuted 'Take Me to the World' at Feinstein's earlier this year to universal raves. He returns in this extended engagement at the popular theatre-district restaurant and cabaret theatre named for Broadway's Laurie Beechman. Kevin will be joined by Musical Director Alex Rybeck at the piano with Jered Egan on Bass and John Redsecker on drums. The Tank and Full Circle Theatre Company present Public Domain, a monthly staged reading series featuring plays in the public domain with no copyright restrictions. Once a play has entered public domain, it belongs to everyone. It becomes ours to do with as we please. As such, we thought it'd be cool if we offered up some of the creative decision-making to our audiences. We've selected our first seven plays, and seven directors with very different approaches. We had our audiences assign a play to each director.

Hollywood and Broadway legends Kaye Ballard, Donna McKechnie and Liliane Montevecchi will star in a one-night-only gala performance 'From Broadway with Love' at the historic Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Broadway performance will benefit Animal Protection of New Mexico, a non-profit organization that has been challenging historic and widespread animal cruelty in New Mexico for more than 30 years. Hilary Knight, internationally renowned illustrator, will design the art for the event.
Award winning and critically acclaimed singer/songwriter, Douglas Ladnier, who's appeared in more than 60 countries around the world, will bring his show 'I'm Your Man' to Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 7 PM. A favorite in the Broadway By The Year series at Town Hall where The New York Times hailed him simply as 'The best,' and Rex Reed raved in The New York Observer, 'This guy's melting baritone could single-handedly revive the art of the ballad, the love song and the heart-breaker.'
Emmy Award winning Host/Singer Jai Rodriguez began his career at age 18 in the role of Angel in the smash-hit Broadway Musical RENT. Other Broadway shows followed including: The Producers, Spinning Into Butter and Zanna Don't, where he created the title role of Zanna. In tandem with Broadway, Jai played the cabaret circuit and created his long-running 'Twisted Cabaret' - a concert series that ran for three consecutive years at one of New York City's most notable hotpots, Club XL.

Having performed a standing room only show at Billy Reed's earlier this year, which led to a headlining show to benefit The Rancho Mirage Public Library just a few months ago. This time around he'll return to a place where much of his success began several years ago, The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert and the Arthur Newman Theatre.
