Cape Playhouse Producer, Mark Cuddy, announced the entire 2016 season repertory to a hundred donors at a Celebration Party on Sunday night. It is the first time in its history that the full slate has been revealed during the previous season.

The Home Grown Theatre Company production of Cabaret currently runs at the Kit Kat Club located above Morningside Antiques in the Westport entertainment district. John Kander and Fred Ebb wrote the music, lyrics, and Joe Masteroff the book. The musical is based on the book I Am a Camera by Christopher Isherwood.

The musical masterpiece returns, direct from Broadway! As part of their 50th Anniversary Season, Roundabout Theatre Company just announced that the national tour of SAM MENDES (Skyfall, American Beauty) and ROB MARSHALL'S (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award®-winning production of CABARET, will premiere in Providence, RI at the Providence Performing Arts Center with performances beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 31 and an official opening on Thursday, Jan. 28 2016. This tour ofCABARET marks Roundabout Theatre Company's third production on the road, having previously produced the critically acclaimed tours of Twelve Angry Men and Anything Goes.

I have to say that when it comes to Kander and Ebb's "Cabaret" I prefer my Kit Kat Club dirty, my Sally Bowles damaged and my Berlin dangerous. And while the current production at Village Theatre has all of those elements, they're all very safe versions of those elements. And while director Brian Yorkey attempted a very thoughtful telling of the story, often times the pacing was so deliberately slow as to lose any urgency of the moment.

Signature Theatre presents Cabaret, the Tony Award-winning musical, directed and choreographed by Signature Associate Artistic Director Matthew Gardiner (Signature's Sunday in the Park with George, Dreamgirls). Running in the MAX Theatre today, May 12, through June 28, the John Kander and Fred Ebb classic is the final production of Signature Theatre's 25th Anniversary.

MUSE takes us back to the 1930s to reveal the inspiration for Christopher Isherwood's Sally Bowles - and uncovers a far more complex and talented woman. With her green-painted nails and a string of lovers, Jean Ross (who roomed in the same house as Isherwood) was indeed 'divinely decadent' but far from the air-headed floozy in the stories.

In Jim Neu's musical 'The Floatones,' four rather strange characters meet at their encounter group and decide the best way to get better is through show business. They form a vocal quartet on the cutting edge of a new fusion between entertainment and self-help. Their night club act shares their group insights in speech and song, interweaving their individual stories, creating a post-Chorus Line. 'The Floatones' debuted in 1995 and will be revived by La MaMa E.T.C. on the play's 20th anniversary, today, May 1 to 10, 2015 co-directed by Catherine Galasso and Keith McDermott. It is the first production of a Jim Neu play since his death in 2010.
