The complete lineup for the Best of Broadway Sings, the next concert in the Broadway Sings concert series at the Highline Ballroom, will feature Corey Cott (Newsies), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), and Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland).
Lauren Pritchard, originated the role of Ilse in the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of Spring Awakening. She wrote the music and lyrics of the Off-Broadway hit, Songbird, (book by Michael Kimmel). You can hear Lauren singing on the radio with bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco, Lemaitre and artists like Matt Nathanson. The American Theatre Wing (Heather Hitchens, President) and The Village Voice (Peter Barbey, Owner) have announced the winners of the 61st Annual Obie Awards. Rajiv Joseph's Guards at the Taj, produced by the Atlantic Theater Company, received the Obie Award® for Best New American Play, which is accompanied by a $1,000 prize. Legendary actor/dancer/choreographer Carmen de Lavallade and renowned playwright A.R. Gurney each received a special Obie Award® for Lifetime Achievement. Obie and Screen Actors Guild® Award-winning actress Lea DeLaria returned as host of this year's ceremony, which was held at Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street).

The Broadway Sings concert series will continue at the Highline Ballroom its "Best Of Broadway Sings" concert, which will feature showstoppers from the series' previous 11 concerts. Some of Broadway's brightest, current talents, such as 2016 Tony Nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Shuffle Along), Jay Armstrong Johnson (On the Town), and Alison Luff (Les Miserables), will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of pop superstars such as Adele, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, P!NK, Sara Bareilles, and Whitney Houston. Over 15 Broadway performers will be accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing unique, original orchestrations created for the acclaimed series.
