On Monday, September 13, The Friar's Club presented Diva Showstoppers, featuring some of Broadway and cabaret's most admired voices. Produced by Randie Levine-Miller, the musical event featured Cady Huffman, Sue Mathys, Cheryl Stern, Christina Bianco and more. Paul Chamlin musical directed. Following five sold out weeks of shows, The Laurie Beechman Theatre will continue their hit series, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED for one performance only, Friday, August 27th at 7pm. Joining the cast is special guest, Len Cariou, who originated the roles of Fredrik in A Little Night Music and Sweeney in Sweeney Todd. Also joining the cast are Telly Leung (Rent, Pacific Overtures), Nikki Scalera (Hairspray), Stephen Wallem (Nurse Jackie), Julia Murney (Wicked), Anne Runolfsson (The Phantom of the Opera, Victor/Victoria) and Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid, Guys & Dolls).
