Dallas Theater Center Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty has announced two new members to DTC's Diane and Hal Brierley Resident Acting Company. Adam A. Anderson and Tiana Kaye Johnson will be joining the Brierley Resident Acting Company for the 2016-2017 season.

In 2015, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained and deported 69,478 individuals residing within the United States. More than 1.76 million residents of the United States were brought here as undocumented youth, immigrant children who attend school here, work here, and pay taxes here, but whose existence here is considered illegal. While this is a frightening setting for those living with the constant fear of deportation and divided families, this existence hardly registers with the charismatic politician Dale Jenkins, a principal character in David Lozano and Lee Trull's collaborative, political play, Deferred Action.

A co-production with Cara Mia Theatre Co. and directed by Cara Mia's Artistic Director David Lozano, DEFERRED ACTION features company members from both DTC and Cara Mia. Amphibian Stage Productions (Kathleen Culebro, Artistic Director) today announced casting for its third main stage production of the 2015 season, The Quixotic Days and Errant Nights of the Knight Errant Don Quixote by Brenda Withers. This world premiere play will run Thursday July 9 through Sunday August 2 at Amphibian's Berlene T. & Jarrell R. Milburn Theatre.  The play will feature actors Steph Garrett, Nathan Smith, Ivan Jasso, Christie Vela, Bob Hess, John Forkner, and Jeremy Schwartz. Matthew Earnest will direct the production.

Dallas Theater Center to Close 2014-15 Season with SENSE AND SENSIBILITY

Dallas Theater Center will close its 2014-2015 season with Kate Hamill's fresh and witty adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, Jane Austen's classic romantic novel. Sense and Sensibility is directed by Sarah Rasmussen and begins with previews on Thursday, April 23 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and runs through Sunday, May 24. Mike Bartlett's BULL to Open STT's 2015 Season

Second Thought Theatre Artistic Director Alex Organ announced today the complete details for Bull, the dark comedy by British playwright Mike Bartlett. Christie Vela is making her STT directorial debut with Bull, which is part of the Elevator Project at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Bull begins with a preview performance on Thursday, February 26 and runs through Saturday, March 14. All performances of Bull will take place in the Studio Theatre and the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, 2400 Flora Street. Tickets to Bull can be purchased at 2TT.co and by calling (214) 871-5000.
