Summer may be winding down, but things are still heating up on Broadway, as the Tony Award-winning, international musical smash CHICAGO announces that stage and screen star John O'Hurley ('Seinfeld,' 'Dancing with the Stars,' Monty Python's Spamalot) has extended his limited engagement as Billy Flynn through Sunday, September 12.

Popular KNBC meteorologist/funny man Fritz Coleman brings his new show An Evening with Fritz Coleman/On the Fritz to the El Portal Theatre in NoHo August 19-22 only. Coleman certainly needs no introduction to Angelenos as he has been reporting the weather three times daily in his own inimitable style for the past 27 years on Channel 4. In our talk, he discusses the new show, his roots, his favorite comics and even explains a little about the whys of the fantastic summer weather we've been experiencing.

BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that comedian Wanda Sykes will be leading the Media Theatre's production of ANNIE as 'Miss Hannigan' this holiday season. Sykes will open the production on November 23 and close the production on January 16, 2011 following a Christmas absence. The theater today released an audition notice and are seeking all roles, including a cover for Sykes while the star fulfills her holiday commitments. The production will be directed by Media Artistic Director Jesse Cline and musical directed by Tom Fosnocht.

COMEDY CENTRAL has once again joined forces with Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions for its third bi-annual special event, 'Night Of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert For Autism Education.' Taping on Saturday, October 2 from the Beacon Theatre in New York City, the benefit for Autism education programs will feature Stewart hosting an evening filled with live performances, sketches and short films from a roster of comedy all-stars. Tickets for the 'Night Of Too Many Stars' go on sale on Monday, August 2, through www.ticketmaster.com or www.beacontheatre.com. Open Stage of Harrisburg, the capital area's professional regional theatre will present its 2010 Flying Solo Festival from June 3 to 26. A month long festival of theatre, Flying Solo features a cavalcade of solo performances including playwright and performer Dorea Schmidt, Sirius/XM radio host Seth Rudetsky, stand-up comedian Jennifer Blaine, and YouTube sensation Miranda Sings.

Spike TV has announced another honor to be presented during its 'Guys Choice' event, as the original sci-fi action thriller 'Inception' will be crowned Most Man-ticipated movie of 2010. Most Man-ticipated will be presented to 'Inception' writer, director, producer Christopher Nolan and film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
