Variety is reporting that Tony-nominated choreographer Rob Ashford will be joining the creative team of the upcoming production of Shrek on Broadway.

Full casting has been confirmed for SHREK THE MUSICAL, which opens at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway @ 53rd St) in New York City on Sunday, December 14, 2008. Preview performances begin on November 8, 2008.
