Segerstrom Center Welcomes Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour 55th Anniversary Celebration Today

The Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour 55th Anniversary Celebration makes its way to Segerstrom Center for the Arts today, January 13 in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. The all- star ensemble will perform classic jazz and original compositions by critically acclaimed, Grammy Award-winning artists: bassist and musical director Christian McBride, vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater, saxophonist Chris Potter, trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, pianist Benny Green and drummer Lewis Nash.

THE TENORS Release New Album, 'Lead With Your Heart,' Set to Sing National Anthem 1/11

Verve Music Group recording artists The Tenors (formerly known as The Canadian Tenors), featuring Clifton Murray, Fraser Walters, Remigio Pereira and Victor Micallef, have announced their release week activity for the U.S. debut of their platinum selling album, LEAD WITH YOUR HEART. The multi-platinum selling singing sensations will kick things off January 11th at Madison Square Garden in New York City to perform the national anthem at a home game for the New York Knicks. And, The Tenors will sing the National Anthem this Sunday, January 13th in Atlanta, before the nationally televised NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks. Game time is 1PM EST on Fox.

This year's lineup features Chris Botti (trumpet), Billy Kilson (drums), Billy Childs(piano), Lisa Fischer (vocals), Ben Butler (guitar 12/17-26),Leonardo Amuedo (guitar 12/27-1/6), Richie Goods (bass), Andy Ezrin (keyboards), Arianna Warsaw-Fan (violin 12/17-26), andCaroline Campbell (violin 12/27-1/6). New Year's Eve will include a champagne toast, hats, noisemakers, a countdown and balloon drop.
