Broadway ledgends Chita Rivera and Rita Moreno will be appearing at the Tilles Center for seperate but consective engagements in the upcoming weeks. Moreno will grace the Tilles stage on April 24, while Rivera will present her 'Chita Rivera: My Broadway' show on May 1.

Broadway Unleashed will present'Stars Of Broadway In Concert,' a benefit to support the Sean Casey Animal Rescue, on May 17 at Backstage at Trattoria Dopo Teatro. Set to perform are special guests Bernadette Peters and Chita Rivera other appearances by Tony Award Winner Beth Leavel, Everett Bradley, Robert Creighton, Malcolm Getz, Darius De Haas, Daled Hensley , Gina Ferrall, Dee Hoty, Norm Lewis, Rosemary Loar, Olga Merediz, Howard McGillin, and Judy McLane.

Tony Award winner Elaine Stritch will perform her concert, 'Singin' Sondheim...One Song at a Time' at the Cafe Carlyle from April 20 - April 29, 2010. Stritch will additionally perform the show as part of Hartford Stage's 2010 SummerStage series from June 17 - 20, 2010, as BroadwayWorld previously reported. Stritch will be joined in Hartford by Chita Rivera and Ben Vereen, who will also be performing solo concerts in Hartford on June 22-27 and July 6-11, respectively.

The tour kicks off on Sunday, January 17 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Florida. Rivera will be accompanied by an 11-piece orchestra, led by musical director Michael Croiter, and will perform selections from her most celebrated musicals, including numbers from West Side Story ('America'), Sweet Charity ('Where Am I Going?' and 'Big Spender'), Chicago ('All That Jazz' and 'Nowadays'), Kiss of the Spider Woman, Bye, Bye, Birdie and The Rink, and featuring the music of Leonard Bernstein, John Kander & Fred Ebb, Charles Strouse, Stephen Sondheim and Cy Coleman among others.
