Kitchen Theatre Company's 6th Annual Dance The Night Away fundraising event on Saturday March 5, 2016 was a great success, raising over $38,000. 

The term, “highly anticipated” is tossed around often in music press, but it can't begin to describe the excitement among true music insiders surrounding the release of Right Beside You, the new album from Jeff White.

Final casting has been announced for the UK tour of Save the Last Dance for Me. Lola Saunders, a finalist on The X Factor 2014, will make her theatrical debut in the role of Jennifer starring alongside previously announced Antony Costa as Milton, with Wayne Robinson as Curtis and Elizabeth Carter returning to the role of Marie.

Star of the Day Productions will present Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Fri-Sun, May 6-21, 2016 at McCoole's Arts & Events Place in Quakertown, PA. Direction and musical staging by Andrea Cartagena of Easton,PA, musical direction by Rich Lovallo of Newfoundland, NJ, and vocal direction by Susan McDermott of Allentown, PA. Performance times are 8:00 p.m. May 6,7,13,14,20,21 and 2:00 p.m. May 8 & 15.

Backstage at the Biograph: Reimagining the Clintons examines how iconic figures are reimagined in a fictional world and what it takes to build that new reality for audiences. The 'Tomatoes Got Talent' show took place on Sunday, March 13, at the Triad on West72nd Street.  Randie Levine-Miller, emceed and co-produced the talent show competition featuring women over 40, with Cheryl Benton of The Three Tomatoes.  

Good Theater the professional theater company in residence at the St. Lawrence Arts Center, 76 Congress Street, Portland will close its 14th season with the regional theater premiere of ACT ONE by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart.  Good Theater is the first company to do Act One since its Broadway debut in 2014.  The production opens April 6 and runs through May 1.  Tickets are available by calling the Good Theater box office at 207-885-5883 or going to the company's website www.goodtheater.com  where tickets may be purchased on line.

Agatha Christie's classic who-done-it, THE MOUSETRAP, which opened March 11 at the McCarter Theatre Centre in Princeton, is splendid. It would be hard for anyone to create a better 'mousetrap' than this performance directed by Adam Immerwahr.

Boise, Idaho -- When natural scenery meets talented models, absolute beauty pours out. Virginia Treat of Treats Photography is working on a Nature Conservation initiative. She has put together a team and over the course of the next year, will be conducting a series of shoots and produce a photo book, calendars and prints and more. The book will contain photographs combining nature with high fashion. In addition, the book will contain an article related to each image, either highlighting a facility or organization dedicated to nature conservation and in general what Idaho has to offer. The book will be sold online and 100% of the proceeds will benefit a variety of nature conservation facilities.
