 From May 14 to 31 (rescheduled from May 7 to 24), The Morningside Players will present 'Fences,' the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning play by August Wilson, directed by Arthur French, a stalwart veteran of Broadway and Off-Broadway who is also a prime interpreter of August Wilson's plays.

 New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) announced today that internationally acclaimed theatre designer and six-time Tony Award Winner Bob Crowley will be honored at the NYTW 2015 Spring Gala on Monday, May 11, 2015. The event, which will be held at the Edison Ballroom (240 W 47th St.) will be chaired by Disney Theatrical Production President Thomas Schumacher, Sherie Rene Scott, Jack O'Brien, and John Barrett.

The Visit, the final musical ever by legendary Tony Award-winning duo John Kander and Fred Ebb, celebrated its opening last night, April 23, 2015 at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). The Broadway transfer of The Royal Shakespeare Company's Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 began previews on March 20, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, and opened Thursday night, April 9, 2015. Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2, which explores the deceit, betrayal, and intrigue of the court of Henry VIII, is written by Dame Hilary Manteland adapted by Mike Poulton. This special event invites theatergoers to be part of a unique theatrical experience, similar to the Royal Shakespeare Company's award winning production of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby.
