The New York Musical Festival (NYMF), previously known as The New York Musical Theater Festival, just honored Tony and Grammy Award winning composer and lyricist Duncan Sheik, Casting Director Tara Rubin, and former NYMF Board Member and Treasurer Frank Troutman at its 2016 Gala hosted by Mo Rocca last night at the Edison Ballroom.
From today, there's a 48-hour priority sale for the new Old Vic season, including the 50th anniversary production of Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Joshua McGuire (25 February-29 April 2017).
The Old Vic today announced further programming, casting and dates for the 2016-17 season, both on and off the main stage. The 50th anniversary production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard will open on 7 March, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Joshua McGuire.

Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera has a concept, book and lyrics by Elizabeth Searle, music by Michael Teoli, and will be directed by David Alpert (If/ Then), with musical direction by Henry Aronson (Rock of Ages), and choreography by Marc Kimelman (A Bronx Tale). Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera will play at the PTC Performing Space (555 West 42nd St.) from July 9 - July 16, 2015.
