The 2011 Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Flea Market ran on Sunday, September 25th from 10 AM - 7 PM on West 44th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, and, for the first time, extended into Times Square, between 43rd and 44th Streets. Straight from San Francisco, The Thrillpeddlers present a concert version of their smash hit revival, VICE PALACE: The Last Cockettes Musical on Friday & Saturday, October 21 & 22 as part of the 2011 HOWL! Festival, at Theater 80.

Theater for the New City (Crystal Field, Artistic Director) has announced that it will present Too Much Too Soon, an evening of short plays by Nikole Beckwith, Dean Imperial, Nick Jones, Melissa Ross, Emily Schwend, and Ken Urban, beginning Thursday, September 29 and running through Sunday, October 9 at Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue, between 9 and 10 Streets.

Thrillpeddlers announces their anticipated annual Halloween season extravaganza Shocktoberfest 12: FEAR OVER FRISCO - A Trio of Noir-Horror Plays by Eddie Muller. This 12th annual festival of Grand Guignol horror theatre and black comedies, plays Thurs., Fri., and Sat. at 8:00 pm from Sept. 23 through Nov. 19, 2011, with a special Halloween performance on Mon., Oct. 31 at 8:00 pm. Abingdon Theatre Company - which has produced 63 new American plays in its 18-year history - is set to honor playwright and actor Charles Busch and actress Julie Halston during its 19th Annual Benefit Gala on Monday, October 24 at Espace (635 West 42nd Street) Manhattan.

The world premiere of I Love Lucy® Live on Stage, a musical comedy tribute to one of the most popular television shows, opens at the Greenway Court Theatre on October 1.

The John W. Engeman Theater's production of Hairspray will close on August 28, 2011.
