The critically acclaimed production of Green Day's hit musical, American Idiot, will be performing a special 'Rock-A-Long' performance for one night only tonight 8 September 2016. Following the huge success of last year's event, Audience members are encouraged to 'ROCK OUT' with the cast, following the musical's return to its London home at the Arts Theatre in July.

In the immortal (and slightly edited) words of Green Day, it's time to 'Wake Up Before September Ends' to catch the smash hit UK production of American Idiot at the Arts Theatre, before it closes on 25 September 2016.

In celebration of AMERICAN IDIOT's return to London this week, from Friday 8 July 2016, the critically acclaimed and celebrated UK production of Green Day's hit musical has released a selection of exclusive behind the scenes images from the show.

As previously announced, double platinum selling artist Newton Faulkner joins the cast of Green Day's explosive Tony Award-winning musical, AMERICAN IDIOT, on its UK tour this spring. Newton will be taking on the role of Johnny from May 2016 after Matt Thorpe, who will open the role from tonight, 19 March at the Curve Theatre, Leicester until 7 May at the New Theatre, Oxford. The original London cast of Pasek and Paul's Dogfight, will be reunited at the St James Theatre in a concert on Oct. 11.  Jamie Muscato and Laura Jane Matthewson will reprise their performances.  The cast also features Cellen Chugg Jones, Nicholas Corre, Matthew Cutts, Ciaran Joyce, Amanda Minihan, Rebecca Trehearn and Samuel J. Weir.

Alex Parker (Putting It Together, Stephen Ward, The Pajama Game) brings a concert of the music of the Oscar, Tony, Grammy, Emmy and Pulitzer prize-winning composer Marvin Hamlisch to the St James Theatre for two performances only, Sunday, 24 August at 3.30pm and 7pm in 'HAMLISCH: The Music Of The Legendary Marvin Hamlisch'.
